But that whispering has to have some sort of significance to the Darkspawn. And I would hope the song itself sounds almost ethereal.

Hopefully they will one day write a composition for that ethereal song, for the next redux of the Blight.

And for the record, dwarves encountered Darkspawn long before humanity ever did. The Darkspawn they encountered were Genlocks.

And for the record, that doesn't mean that genlocks were the first darkspawn to exist.

i find it hard to believe that some of the writers are the same when everyone sees the obvious plotholes and inconsistencies in the story

I find this post hard to believe. Obvious plotholes and inconsistencies in a story you haven't actually played yet. I wish I had that crystal ball of yours so I could stare into to see the future, too. While you're at it, would you be able to get me next week's Euromillions numbers?

this post was as regards dragon age 2; not its DLC. No I won't bother to find out whether the DLC is worthy or not. I am going go get Catherine instead. Although It would be nice if I could forsee the future though...

DA2 is bad compared to its predecessor. Catherine sure it is not a great rpg; however the story seems nice...and i like its adult content...DA2 fails both in story and being an adult game. Also, I am willing to try it as long as it is not a product of bioware. At least the devs or mods or game makers have not insulted their customers like Bioware's has done.

So the Hawke Lineage also comes from the Freemarches then, so he's a Fereldan and Free-Marchian descent?

Well yeah, why you do think they went to the Freemarches in the first place because they didn't have family based in Kurkwall

And for the record, that doesn't mean that genlocks weren't the first Darkspawn to exist. But so far there's more evidence to assume that they were.

The dwarves ecountered 'creatures which looked like them'. Whatever they did encounter, it couldn't be genlocks unless those dwarves were either blind or very critical when it came to their own appearance.

(random art redesigns wrecking earlier established lore are fun)

I just hope they release a DLC that is post-main storyline. Either that or something that relates to Morrigan or Golems of Amgarrak. Or your Warden.

Oh dear we aren't in for another round of what exactly makes the lore, are we?

Fine, "random art redesigns wrecking earlier established codex entries."

Will the sibling's bit in the Act 2 climax change if you've just seen them recently in the DLC?

Catherine isn't an rpg.  It's a bloody dating sim/puzzle game for christs sake.

Melo said that the main plot will be from 2 1/2 to 3 hours; but if you want to explore all the areas and complete all the side quests you can easily reach the 5 hours of playing!
Not bad, really not bad!

I guess it would be wishful thinking, but I wish it could be at least hours long something close to awakening. I would hate for it to be short like "The warden's Keep."
