So if I'm unable to get the comics because Darkhorse screwed up by not preparing their servers for this extreme overload, will I be out of luck? I've been trying since this thread was started, and the connection keeps timing out on me.

Yes, after you hit on Read Now (either button or text link if the website is in script) it should add to 'My Collection' folder and it should be saved forever. At least that's what told in this thread... :/

Huh well they seem to be in my Collection now... Hopefully what you say is true cause I don't see any other way. I'm not even going to try and read them; I'll wait. hopefully it works.

Oh and to everyone else who bothers to read this its is easier to open the Free list then open the ones you want in a new tab and just refresh that tap until it loads then once you've done that check your collection to make sure you have them all.

24 hours is not enough, its so overloaded it wont even open.......

yeah 24 hours just isn't enough time. They need to either get more processing speed for their servers or something. Cause 24 hours is just overloading the site in a crazy way.

Do you have to read it through your browser or can you download them as PDF or something? If it is the former I'm not sure I want to sign up for another set of spam just to get to read the comics.

I've spent an hour trying to get to one page. I got redemption added to my collection, but by the time I got to evolution the site just died. We better get another day, or something. Also, does having it in my collection mean I have the whole comic, because it says they're free but it also says they cost money, and the site runs so slow I can't check to see if I actually have it.

No PDF or something, as was stated at 3rd page of this thread.
To DarkHorse's honour I should say they've send only one or two ads letter so far (I'm subscribed to infos since January) - it's nothing compared to EA or Apple

Yeah, this isn't working out at all. ^^; I've been at the site for hours *just* trying to register an account and trying to get to the preview comic is obviously not happening at all.

I suspect this 'one day only' offer would work better were the website actually up on the day in question.

Been trying all day to even view the comics. Pretty much no success so far.

You'd think they'd at least try to prepare for the expected overload? A 24-hour promotion handled this disasterously gives the company/website a terrible rep.

That really sucks because there are no comic shops anywhere near me anymore. This was going to be my first time getting to read the comics.

No success for me either. It won't even load the links to go to the viewing page of all the comics. I'm almost tempted just to buy them in a few days when there's less activity and I can ACTUALLY get to their website. I'll keep trying though. It just sucks because I've been trying for a few hours now.

Is at least preview considered as "totally free for everyone and for always" and if it might be screencaptured and reposted? I can't check what actual site says about that because can't uplink anymore but volunteer to make screencaps when I'll get access - unless BSN would consider it as violating copyright and will remove materials

just click the link in OP and select the comic you want to read. Note that it may take up to several hours before you can actually open the page and another to be able to read the comic it self.
