From what I understand so long as you get the comics into your account you should be good to go. You can read/download them even after the promo period is over.

Kinda makes me wish that Dark Horse would be more dilligent about getting their servers to work after the first huge influx of people who tried to access their site because this is more than ridiculous >____>

What a crap website, it loaded the first page of the preview but not the rest after many many times trying, now it isn't loading anything...

Yup. I have been periodically trying to get this going since last night. It’s the worst. I just now was able to register after 1,000,001 attempts. Now it’s loading…and loading…and loading. Hopefully, it won’t run out before my page loads. This is a pretty sweet deal---if it works.

Lol yeah, now's not the ideal time to go over the comics. xD Dark Horse probably didn't anticipate this many people jumping in on their promo.

Maybe they could throw us a bone and extend the offer? XDDD After all it is pretty ridiculous at how both the website and the app for iPad users aren't exactly working due to traffic.

Like many people I only have the covers showing in my bookshelf but they're greyed out cuz I haven't completely downloaded the comic itself onto the app. If anything I just want the Evolution comics since I already have a hard copy of Redemption :V

I'll just keep crossing my fingers and hope that the comics in my bookshelf are still there and all I have to do is download to read >_____< be really lame if they weren't there anymore or I can't download them without paying....

Took me about half an hour of spamming to sign up, bout 1 hour to get a list of all mass effect comics and then i just spammed 'read now' on those (yey for tabs in browsers), doing read now on the 'bundles' only seemed to add volume 1 so i just went for each one seperately (already have the redemption comic in actual physical form, but hey, digital backup is always nice). And as others i'll read them after the promotion is over considering how slow the site is at the moment.

i practically pissed myself when i saw this offer, and then after an hour or so of trying to access the site, the ****** jumped right back up and i rage quitted the computer. i just hope that dark horse gets their crap right and aren't for whatever reason doing this on purpose as a teaser or something

I thought the app was the easiest way to go. It lagged and crashed on sign up and downloaded slow then the cover art took an hour to show up... You get what you pay for, at least it works.

Mine lagged and crashed just trying to get the comics into my bookshelf. I couldn't even download the comics because of errors. Now the app just doesn't work anymore and crashes. Been like that for three hours now.

I too also thought that the app would be the easiest way to go.

That'd be because the other pages didn't download. Technically, though, it's 9 pages, as Dark Horse counts the cover and credits as part of the preview.

I still cannot read teh comics, though i've added them to my collection. They just don't pop up when i try to read them.
