Hello everyone,

I was playing ME2 just fine until the moment when my laptop hard disk start screwing up. The thing is I saved my profile settings ( the one in MyDocuments/Bioware) before the whole laptop died. Now the lappie is in repair but when I get it back, can I paste the profile settings and continue playing or must I start all over again ?

That should work. If you copied the whole Mass Effect 2 folder from My Documents/Bioware, that should contain both your profile and your saves.

If you just copied your profile, you can paste that in and you will have your achievements and such. But no saves.
