We all know it's coming - new female squadmate, a counterpart to Vega and obviously the main new LI for mShep (and bi/les FemShep most likely too). Who do you think she will be? Someone entirely new like Vega or perhaps someone we already know? (Sanders/Gillian) What will she be like? Human? Alien? What class she's most likely to fill?

Eh, I really hope they don't introduce any new squadmates other than Vega, at least outside of DLC.

ME3 should be about finishing development of the characters we already had. I think a good squad for me would be the announced squad members, plus maybe Miranda. That would cover all the skills I need, and ensure that the squad is small enough that everyone can receive adequate attention.

I thought that there wasn't going to be any new LI's... Please correct me if I'm wrong.

But if we do get a a new female squadie, I think that an elcor or a hanar would add some excitement to the game, haha.

They've already said there will be new squadmates/LIs in plural form so at least one more is given. Not to mention if it was just Vega, then some players could end up with only 3 people in the entire squad if they killed everyone they could and the 2 SM survivors they've imported just happened to be have only cameo roles in ME3.

I'm not sure we'll be seeing one, to be honest. Vega's there to help new players, and was announced pretty early. We still have the entire ME2 cast who need screentime; if there's another new female announced who takes up another spot on the squad instead of one of the previous characters, I'll be a little annoyed. I'd guess Liara and maybe Ashley are the 'new' female LIs.

That being said, if they did it well, I'd prefer a female turian.

I'm thinking that it's going to be Emily Wong as an embedded reporter with Shepard. The public has a right to know, you know? (j/k)

Although I wouldn't be surprised to see Sanders come aboard the Normandy in all truthfulness.

There will be new LI in ME3.  I, for one, would rather have a new character for the s/s relationship than an one already romanced by Shepard that is now bi.  It would have been better if they hadn't removed that option from ME1, but they did.

I'm waiting to see who the s/s LI will be before creating another Shepard for the s/s.  I was going to have one set up before March, but I think I will now wait to see who they are first.  Because if it either Ash or Miri.  No thanks.  Jack is a maybe, but I prefer someone new.   Just because it's someone new. 


I hope it's another human.  They don't seem to have more than one of each species working with Shepard.

How can Liara be a new "female" LI when she can already be with femShep?  Unless you are talking about those that didn't romance her.  Then I'm sure that would also be the case with Ash/Kaidan as well.

I do believe we'll see a new female squadmate, but I am leaning towards her being more or less "new."Not everyone's read the ME books, so I'm not sure they'd include a squaddie where half the ME fan population knew of her, and the other half is all, "Who is this, I don't even...?!"

If I go diggin' around for my usual femme suspects, I'd guess human. Why not Turian? *shrug* It won't happen. Batarian? Don't bet on it. Quarian? Unless you want Tali's shotgun shoved up your rear for the duration of the game, SURE! Otherwise, no. How about another Asari? See Tali, but replace Tali with Liara and her shotgun with a curiously and quite unnervingly shaped Barrier.

The lass might be blonde, don't have a clue about her accent, and possibly an Infiltrator/Engineer. Maker knows we have enough biotics as it is.

Yep, that's what I meant. I wasn't very clear on that; my apologies 

And it has been confirmed that there's multiple new squadmates? Hmm. I'm going to hope we'll get a pool to choose from, with both new and old squadmates. Vega seems cool and all, but I'm already attached to characters and I don't want to see them all be cameos.

The way she went mmmmmm that Jacob.  Makes it hard for me to see her as the s/s for femShep.  I'd create a femShep for Kasumi though.  I like her.

We would have three sentinels if Kaidan is the VS.  Then we would have three engineers if Tali/Legion survived the SM.

I think we need another vanguard or infiltrator myself.

That is the female Korgan that was with Mordin and Shepard is helping get off world with the Wrex' help.  That was one of the demos from E3.
