Is there a release date for it yet?

The AI seemed a little dog brained too, though the destructive environments might be fun to play with. I'll take a wait and see approach with this one. Though with DX3 on the horizon it will probably be an either or choice of those two for me dependent on which one is more fun to play.

This looks fantastic. There aren't enough Cyberpunk games coming out(and I'm a big fan of the genre).

Soon. September 2011 is all we know. The devs decided to wait 2 months before release before even announcing it. Good so we don't have to wait long.
And look there was a secret area found!

greatit even looks like it has more RPG elements than ME3 [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/lol.png[/smilie]
"There are people who previously worked in CD Projekt RED, People Can Fly, City Interactive and Metropolis."
CDProjekt RED and Metropolis are both owned by CDProjekt and well they did an amazing job with Witcher 2. Probably where the rpg features came from. The team has some great experience.

I'm sure the developers will find a publisher like EA when they port it to consoles. The game will likely sell 10-15 copies total on the PC.
Oh, PC gamers will "play" it however. har har, I'm so clever. Kind of like saying "acquire" rather than buy when PC gamers talk about how they built their game library.

Visually its amazing, thats high end PC stuff. There's no lack of destructible objects, holy crap. O_o. I agree with some of Pheobus' points. And I hope the levels open up a bit more. Those comic book cut scenes are pretty bad, but I'm guessing they don't have CDPR's artists on staff, lol. It'll be a cheaper kind of indie game I think.
Well if you look at the gameplay video there are secret paths (yay!) and the game is only $30 or $27 if you preorder it though I do agree I don't care for the cutscenes but rpg elements and old school style gameplay whats not to love?

A small team creating a game and aiming it exclusively at PCs? It seems like a risky move financially. Zych disagrees. "Consoles are past their peak of interest. In my opinion everyone is moving their focus to mobile devices: iOS and Android mobiles, to social games on Facebook and finally to digital distribution on PCs," he told Ars. "The number of copies sold for all the other systems is not as big as for consoles, but the royalties a developer gets from the deal are much, much higher."
Amen. The sooner consoles die the better.

The art direction is gorgeous - really resembles the world of Bladerunner. The gameplay is also very well designed; however, the demo area was very short and I hope that there are a lot more different types of enemies.
I was surprised at how well it runs on my laptop at 1920x1080, ultra settings. I didn't even need to overclock my GPU.

I had a chance to play through the demo. It's a lot more fun than I imagined from watching the gameplay footage. I think I will buy this one, however, not sure if I will wait for it to go on sale.

Its already cheap plus you can preorder at 10% off. I think its adequate for me anyways. But man its incredibly optimized.

Also, the game won't ship with DRM. These Polish devs sure are making everyone else look like a bunch of corporate douchebags.

Consoles die? You remind me of the black knight from Monty Python and the Holy Grail who still thinks he can win after getting all of his limbs cut off.
The game will come to console because despite their noble rhetoric they're still a business and console gaming is where the money is at.
The game will not sell well and no not just because of piracy, but also due to the lack of marketing muscle in an already crowded field of triple AAA game releases. They're going to seek out a publisher that can help them bring in the big bucks and that publisher is going to want a console release.
