My wife and I play lots of different genres of games, but we're having trouble controlling our characters during combat on the 360 version of DA.  Basically, we click on an enemy to attack and sometimes that works.  Other times she lines up wrong and misses 7 times in a row.  Then other times, she inexplicably runs off in some weird direction for no reason at all.

The running off in a weird direction is really frustrating - feels like we have to keep adjusting the character during combat.

Has anyone else dealt with this?  Maybe its just our play style?  What are we doing wrong?

I've often had my character run in a circle and run in the opposite direction of an enemy's location after I've commanded him/her to attack. It may be a Xbox360 problem, as I play on the console, as well. My character, often, misses several times in a row until I readjust his/her stance.

It's not just you, but I would like to know the reason behind this, as well. Perhaps that's just the price we pay for 1750 more gamerscore to add to our profiles. ^^

Found some posts on GameFAQs suggesting it was a problem with oversensitivity on the controller itself. Suggestions were: try a different controller and adjust the X/Y sensitivity in the menus. My wife switched to a different controller and things have improved.

Meh, I'll have to try that. Sounds reasonable, but still doesn't explain why our characters run away to sniff flowers when we command them to attack. Haha.
