Leliana and Marjolaine, along with the lore of Lady Isolde, speak of Orlais as a beautiful place where danger lurks around every corner and music plays through each open window. Bards sing on the street corners during the day and assassinate during the night. The Orlesian occupation is a well-spoken-about topic due to Loghain's hatred of Orlais and the general Ferelden disdain for Olais.
Despite all this, Orlais is all but unmentioned in Dragon Age II and I've read that Leliana's Song takes place in Denerim, not in Val Royeaux.
So, I have a solution: Dragon Age III or, perhaps, a prequel to come later, should be set in -- at least pay homage to -- Orlais and allow the PC to see the majesty of Val Royeaux.
What do you other die-hard Origins fans think? Should Val Royeaux and Orlais be in a future game? We've seen Amaranthine. We've seen Kirkwall. If you agree, how would it be implemented? A small role or an entire game? What possibilities lie in Orlais that would differ from Ferelden? Anyone?
Feel free to speak about Antiva or Par Vollen, as well. (However, in my opinion, Par Vollen should not be revealed to allow the Qunari to keep their mystery!)
Ideas? Thoughts? Harsh comments? All are welcome.
