Have you talked with Miranda? I know its difficult to pay attention to anything that comes out of her mouth when the camera is focusing on her arse the way it does, but she does state something alnog the lines of;
"Her father used to be a huge supporter and financial backer of Cerberus, but stopped supporting them when she ran away and joined them"

accordingly to the lore in LotSB, TIM has plenty of partners and is 'active' every night... wouldn't be surprised if Miranda and him had....

I can see the similarities between TIM and Miranda's father but no, definetly not. Will be (or should be) someone we havn't meet yet and hopfully will meet in ME3.

There was this rumor running around that Lawson is not her real surname and her father is actually either Mr. Ashland or Mr. Eldfell from Eldfell-Ashland Energy...

No, it's impossible TIM Is her father but it would have been an interesting plot element in another ME universe. I could very well picture TIM having a bio-engineered biotic clone daughter of himself.

Given the ability given to give Shep a number of different ethnicities....thank god that won't be possible.
