Anyone happen to know what the highest recorded damaging blow in DA:O is? I'm curious if it's possible to break into the four digit numbers without some form of cheating.

I've seen someone claim they got 2k+ with mana clash, no proof though. Personally I have gotten it to hit for 900ish with a hex up.

I'd believe that. If they have Spell Wisp+Hex+Spell Might+Mana Clash on a high mana target... It would work. So far I've only seen Mana Clash, Entropic Death and Arror of Slaying break the 500+ barrier. Can a DPS warrior and melee rogue do the same?

In theory a level 25 archer could do over 26,000 damage with Arrow of Slaying against a lvl 1 target. Even if the target is only 10 levels below the archer it can still hit for over 4000 damage. The trouble is finding targets that weak

Technically the genlocks in the Alienage stage of the last battle have really ****ty stats. I'm guessing you could blast one of those guys with arrow of slaying. I'd just like to see how high some one could hit for.

I got a hit in the last battle for 1012. Sadly my game crashed mid fight so it never got recorded :-( My highest recorded is 847 - arrow of slay'd!

What kind of target and what build/stats/gear? I've been able to get my slayings up to near 600, but can't seem to break that even on squishy mage targets.

They are level 10. Even an Arrow of Slaying "only" hits them for 800+.

Mana Clash Gaxxkang with a Hex on him. Someone said they got 1800. Others are saying they're getting around 1300 with Entropic Death with Hexes and around 150 spellpower.

IMO entropic death is the only non-contingent one that works on all bosses and mobs. Doesn't have level dependency or anything like that, and as hexes scale with spellpower you can get almost any mob down WAY low in the resistance tables
