I'm trying out some builds based on fictional characters.

My current one is based on Gerald Tarrant from the Coldfire trilogy by C. S. Friedman. He's a male Magi with first specialization Arcane Warrior (always has ice weapon up, using longsword). Spell talents focus on ice from Primal and heavy selection from the Spirit and Entropy schools. Second spec will be Blood Magic, just because it's the most taboo. To better fit the character, I gear for cold damage and cold resistance but purposefully avoid fire talents and fire gear.

Next I plan to play an approximation of Kahlan the Confessor from the "Legend of the Seeker" TV series. She is a female human Warrior who will spec in Templar. I used the console to grant her Blood Control to mimic the confessing power Kahlan has that can enthrall a person. She will use primarily dual daggers, again to mimic the fighting style of the the TV character. I will try to find something close to white robes but it will be hard to get adequate armor so I may have to compromise the look or maybe boost stats via console to compensate for aesthetic choice.
