When I want to use an ability (backstab, for example) it doesn't activate the moment I press its hotkey or select it from the wheel. Hawke dicks around for 10-15 seconds using regular attacks before finally using the ability. It's quite annoying, what's the point of me having "perfect timing" if Hawke won't listen?

I've had it lag a few seconds but not this long. I hope someone can answer you about this, it sounds very annoying.

I noticed it, too - but, like jaybee said, not a delay as long as you are experiencing. I thought it was a result of 'auto-attack' being on (as in abilities only fire after the auto-attack sequence finishes). That's only my theory though. It happened a lot when I was playing a rogue.
