No,  I'm not being a smart ass.

Okay, then scratch the 'smart'.

I don't like when established charachters get different sexual orientation just because people want it.

Different than you assumed =/= different from reality.

Your personal interpretation what Miranda's sexuality was ≠ her established sexuality.

Did we play the same game? ME2 clearly established her as heterosexual.

It established her as liking men, possibly for the purpose of reproduction.

There's nothing to indicate that she doesn't like women.  The fact that she doesn't initiate a relationship with a female Shepard under the same conditions as she does with male Shepard is not proof that she doesn't like women.

Bisexuals are not always equal-opportunity lovers for both genders.  ME2 established her as heterosexual only in your mind; that's what you assumed to be true about her.

If anyone should have been made Bi in ME2 it should have been Jack because her entire history screams it what with her having had sex with women before.

Or because she really is heterosexual. That's more likely.

Of course it's likely, but it ain't confirmed fact :police: I thought it was likely Tali was asexual after ME1, I was proved wrong in ME2 :D

her established sexuality is in the game: heterosexual. there are no hints, behavioural flourishes or anything to suggest otherwise. there is evidence she is heterosexual, none that she is bi. jack, however, mentions previous relationships with both sexes, so that is a more likely avenue than miranda suddenly changing her entire in-game behaviour to appease a certain segment of the audience.

Or, she likes men because they are men.

And maybe sometimes she likes women.  We don't know.  Nobody asked her.

I will state this again. Jack is the only female LI that would be the logical choice to make bisexual, her history screams that she is so it wouldn't be a stretch at all for her to be in ME3.

I like grilled tuna.

Maybe you've seen me eat grilled tuna on 3 separate occasions.

There are no "behavioral flourishes or hints" that I like steak.

I LOVE STEAK

And what kind of flourishes are you expecting?  A left thumb ring?  A DVD set of Ellen and the entire discography of Tegan and Sara on her shelf?  A big conversation piece where she talks about how much she loves the ladies?

BECAUSE THATS JUST SILLY

Already confirmed that's not gonna be the case:

Some game sites saying "previously straight chars now available for both
m&f chars" not necessarily true. Will have some new LI's in #ME3

Explain us what would need to be changed in Miranda's in-game behavior if she was bisexual. According to my knowledge bisexual women LIKE MEN. So everything Miranda did and said in the previous game stays.

Considering how many people want s/s im afriad i won't romance anybody in ME3.
Dragon Age romances already turned into sausage fest in Dragon Age 2, im expecting no different in ME3.

Jack speaks about one experience with a woman, that she didn't seem too crazy about.  That does not mean that she enjoys the company of women on a regular basis.  If anything, I would argue that Jack only opens up to a Male Shepard, and a Female Shepard will never be able to earn her trust or friendship, based on the way she acts after the loyalty mission.

Miranda, however, at least trusts and respects a Shepard of either gender, by the end of ME2.  She has shown no preference towards women, romantically, but she has not shown any disgust or ambivalence, either.

I've said this in the past myself, but I'm going to play devil's advocate here. It fits Jack's personality to take risks, sometimes with reckless abandon. She's clearly an experimenter given her colorful history ( ran with a cult for a while, etc.) And she did have a threesome with another woman involved, but that doesn't mean she actually liked it. Maybe she learned from that experience that she prefers men. And maybe miss goodie two shoes Miranda has been reserved about her lust for the ladies all this time. Could be an interesting twist at any rate.

She also says something along the lines of "I don't have a boyfriend... or a girlfriend." Which is another hint that she can swing to both sides rather easily. Sure she didn't like the company of that one woman but to be fair she never seemed to like the company of anyone.

My bad. The vast majority of characters will be bisexual.
