I honestly don't know what this had to do with the topic but I felt like sharing.

Even more importantly, I don't want to sound like a complete ass by

I don't understand what the big deal with the Anders flirting is. It's really not that bad, all he says is that he thinks you have a soft heart (if you're a manHawke) and he even apologises right after saying it. Miranda and Tali were both worse than he was but they rarely get complaints.
Completely agree with the second part, there should always be a polite decline option.

Anyone freaking out about Anders seems like they're stick stuck in junior high. Grow up, seriously. This doesn't even deserve a long drawn out argument. Just, suck it up and stop being a pansy. It's not like "TEH GAYS" is contagious. It's not like he grabbed Hawke's ass or anything.

What's with all the "We want same sex LIs for ME3". Seriously? What is this, Dragon Age?
Hi, you must be new around here. Also, same-sex LIs are confirmed both ways, so it's just a question of who.

Most of those people will point out that turning Anders down is the [EVIL] rivalry option, conveniently ignoring that you get rivalry for anything short of personally butchering the Grand Cleric, any civilians who happen to be nearby and all templars for good measure.I as well never get people freaking out over Anders really why care about something so small.

In Bioware's brave new world, not having sex (particularly gay sex) is counted amongst the most severe of atrocities.
(May be a SLIGHT exaggeration, but have to admit they are pretty distinctly libertarian.)

Considering how many people want s/s im afriad i won't romance anybody in ME3.
Dragon Age romances already turned into sausage fest in Dragon Age 2, im expecting no different in ME3.
I agree, I'm so sick of the gay agenda hijacking the LIs in ME3. Liara made since, but Kaidan, Ashley, Miranda? The way things are going there will not be a single straigt romance in ME3.
YOUVE ALREADY TAKEN THE US MILITARY YOU CAN'T HAVE MASS EFFECT TO.
Secondly, Casey said himself not EVERY LI will be bi, besides, it's an option to be gay. Don't want to, don't be.
Very serious.
idc, as soon as another character is announced the s/s fans will jump on the opportunity to push for ANOTHER s/s romance until BioWare caves in.
And I want NOTHING of the sort in ME3, or in my face everytime I go to a new topic.
Gays r in ur military kissin ur doods.

Exactly, why does every character have to be bi for goodness sake? Please Bioware, be original and leave some totally straight characters in ME3 instead of bowing to political correctness, sometimes it can go to far.

The whole Miranda should be/could be Bi is laughable, who is to say that the character actually finds you attractive in that way? Not every Bi or Lesbian woman fancies the pants off of every other woman in the world.. it is all personal taste. Just like my personal taste is that I prefer Jack's looks and body type over Miranda and her dead heat between two zeppelins and bouncy castle sized arse.
Also, have you lot thought that the reason some characters are not same sex romanceable is so that it makes you want to play as the opposite sex to see the different aspects of the game? It would make the game very bland if everyone was available without you actually playing a different gender.

Most of them want the DA2 "solution" which was absolute garbage. Every LI being "Shepard-sexual" is pure stupidity. Maybe they think it's great if everybody is bisexual to meet their demands, but it's a load of crap for the rest of us or people who want well-defined characters.
Oh and look at their sigs, they clearly are the type who want to shove their "interests" in everybody elses face.

Miranda has already come off as hetero through LoTSB and no romance with FemShep. I find it absurd that you s/s supporters repeatedly jump the gun and forcefully try to make every ME character s/s just so it fits YOUR needs. TL;DR - get off already established LI's/Romances

The second part was my issue with the first part. Anders started hitting on me, and the only way I could turn him down was by being a jerk about it. I said the same thing about Merrill as well.

How is my disliking Anders flirting with me any different than the number of female players complaining about FemShep's "Come Hither" voice towards Jacob? :innocent:
The fact that he flirts with me and that there is no option to politely turn him down was a problem.

I also hope for this I always think if they do same sex relationships that Miranda and Ashley would work best and could fit what we know about them no the male shep side I wonder if that is why they are adding vega to the squad as I cannot see it fitting any of the other guys in the game
No, it would only work for Jack, considering she already said that had sex with women aswell.
Miranda is the last person of all female romances i would consider being s/s much less for Garrus and Thane.

No, you specifically said that you don't want characters like Anders creepily flirting with you. Your first sentence which only mentioned Anders was separated from the rest of the paragraph, not sure why you'd rather lie about what you said rather than saying you were wrong but whatever.

If Miranda was the f/f option in ME3 would it really take anything away from people that don't want to take that option? I don't really like Kaidan and don't plan on ever trying his romance, doesn't mean I want it taken out of the game.
I keep hearing the Anders argument, its stupid. He doesn't always hit on Hawke, its only if you take the diplomatic dialogue so for anyone who's that bothered about the rivalry points they can just be snarky and he won't make the first move. I admit not having a way to let someone down gently is annoying but that's not a s/s issue it can happen with the o/s LIs too.
