I chose option 1(continue) after I beat the suicide mission, but a few of my squad-mates died . Then I reloaded a save I made before going through the Omega 4 Relay so that I could have them all alive. When I beat it again, it didn't ask me which option to choose. Does this mean when I import my character into ME3 it will think some of my squad mates are dead, even if I went back and saved them? Also, after I saved all my squad-mates, I played the dlc content. Since I played the dlcs after the suicide mission, will it import the progress I made in the dlcs?

In other words, once you select option 1, will me3 only import what you have done before selecting option 1?

There is no set "end game" save file created for ME2 like there was for ME1. A flag for "completed game" is set within the save file itself, so if you overwrote the save game where your squaddies died, then ME3 will recognise it as all your squaddies being alive.
Because it is simply a flag set in the save game file, it doesnt matter if you do the DLC before or after the Suicide Mission.
