Hello,
I purcased Mass Effect 1 on steam. After I installed it, and tryed to run it. The game wil start up, but dont run smoth. When, after 5 minuts, I get to the main screen, the one with "press any key" it takes abbout 10 min for the game to realise that a key is presed, and another 15 min for the main screen pops up. I can't start a game.
I am running on windows vista, and i got all the requirements for the game, and I run the game as administrator.
Can anyone help me?

You need to put down your system specs guys as it can help track the problem. I had (as Bogsnot1 knows) some bother myself. Through the process of elimination I finally got the game to run. I can tell you one thing though, ME1 is one of the most "picky" games I have come across when it comes to system setups. For me it was bios settings, it might be something different for you.
