Hi,
I forgot to use my GoA save when I played DA2. So I was wondering does completing GoA affect the world of DA2 in any way?

I think the events/decisions that affect DA2 take place only in DAO and DAA.

For now, but we dont know what they have in mind for future DA2 releases. Maybe Golems of amgarrak and witch hunt have some affect in them. We can only wait and see

I am having problems with this DLC.
I had no problems defeating the arch demon but now I've imported my level 21 dwarf and everyone dies in the first battle! Is this a glitch or something? I'm using the ultimate edition so I've got the latest patch.
I think I have it solved. Just a lot of stun affects going around.

Golems is the hardest scenario in the game.
Also your supposed to do Golems after Awakening, and Before Witch Hunt.
Origins - Awakening - Golems - Witch Hunt -> Dragon Age 2.

True. For DA3, I sure hope the devs implement a customizable import option, like the ME2 team did for the PS3 version of that game (and they're also doing it for ME3).
I had one character prepped for DA2, and it was screwed up to a degree by the fact that unless you had Nathan Howe in your party at the end, he was considered dead, even if Vigil's Keep was fully upgraded. Another character was lost to a corrupted PS3 (yellow light of death, unrevivable). And now, I'm working on a third character; she's currently slogging her way through DAA.

Agreed. Golems of Amgarrak was a nice change of pace from the missing difficulty in Awakening. The overpowered talents from there actually were useful in GoA.
It will still be tough, but there would be a big difference between starting GoA as a lv 21 character and a maxed out lv 35 character, imported from Awakening.
