i was thinking if you had a romance with any charecters for more than ME3 you could pre pose to them.
What are your ideas

From what we know, it looks like it will be an option in the game.

I just hope it's a 'military wedding' and not some big-white-dress princess nonsense in a castle that wouldn't fit the the game at all.

I want my Shepard to marry Ashley. It would be disappointing if we didn't get the chance to marry our respective LIs.

Maybe a quicky wedding, Independence Day style, before the tumble before the final battle...

Not really my thing, but I do believe there should be at least SOME option for players to establish clearly that they are committing to a relationship for life. I'm not sure if I'd have the patience to put up with a full blown wedding in a video game about shooting things.

Wasn't there a podcast a while back that more or less implied that Shepard and his/her love-interest might be able to "commit" to one another ("Maybe get an apartment together," was the quote, I think) but that the writers were hesitant to add marriage?

I wish I remembered where that exact podcast came from.

Personally, I'd like the option to propose to my love-interest, because after everything Shepard has been through, Shepard deserves a little peace and happiness. Not everyone feels that way, I know, but I think that if a proposal was optional, a lot of people would enjoy it.

Some people LOVE sappy. But I don't. I don't mind it being an option and Bioware catering options to as much of its fan base as possible so long as I'm not forced into it.

I'm not entirely sure it would fit in game. What I'd rather see is Shepard and their LI after the battle with the Reapers, talking about everything they've been through, share a little romantic moment, then end off like the teaser trailer with Shepard walking from a window, saying there's still work to be done with the ME theme playing, then credits, then New Game + or continuing you game. That'd be epic.

I'm almost sure it's gonna be an option to pursue before the final mission/battle, like how someone already referenced Independence Day (and it happened in other catastrophic moves as well)

I think that would cheapen the moment.

It would be like:

LI: You are proposing to me now?
Shepard: Yes. I thought this was the best time.
LI: I have the feeling that you are only asking because we could all die on the next mission.

That's not romantic at all.

As long as it's not the only option to say that you want something beyond the scope of the war. Not everyone views marriage as the end all, be all of relationships.

Was joking anyway ;P End of the game would work too. As much as Attack of the Clones sucked, Padme and Anakin's wedding was so not a cliche I expected. Just a nice, beautifuly lighted scene at the end without any unnecessary badly-written (Lucas...) dialogues.
