To me it has to be Juggernaut armor. You can get it by fighting the revenants in Brecillian Forest and i love it not just because of the looks because of the stats too it makes the high dragon feel like a low dragon.

Mmm.. This is hard to pick just one. But I think that my favorite would be the Dragonbone Cleaver Battleaxe that imports into your game from the Witch Hunt DLC.

I love playing 2h warriors, they're just my favorite, and I use that axe for the entire game of DA:O, and DA:A. There is simply nothing better than hulking around a badass axe like that :-).

Griffon's Beak, Dragon Age Origins. Awesome background, really felt an honour to carry a weapon that served one of my ancestors (as a dalish). Would have been better if it was a sword or a bow though...
Ancient elven armor, Dragon Age Origins. While certainly not as powerfull as I'd like, it had an awesome design. Its appearance and description helped the player understand what was lost with Arlathan

The Vain/Enasalin Rogue tunics from DA2. I looked damn good in those.

DAO: Rose's Thorn, from addled Orzammar merchant:
My first PT was (sigh) yes, an f!Cousland rogue romancing Alistair. Weapon name was too poetic not to buy it, given the whole rose thing.

DAO: Ancient Elven Armor, from Lothering cabinet, Ruined Temple Chest, barter with Mad Hermit, Ancient Elven Ruins:
Love the look of it, especially on elves. Agree with many posters that Warden-Commander suit from Soldier's Peak is also gorgeous, but I favor this set.

DAO: Stick, Feastday Gifts pack
Because it makes Dog so happy!

Seconding the love for Origin-specific gear.

DAO: Tier 9 Dalish Leather Armor and weapons, from merchant Varathorn in Dalish camp:
(With tmp's mod so my f!Dalish was not in a bikini, but still.) I wanted to equip my Dalish with Dalish items, and I was very glad that these were available to buy at higher tiers as I leveled up.

having played both dragon age games and all the DLc for both i would say:
(A)"The Hawke's Key" as a staff because
(B) its found on Rhattigans corpse after you kill him,his steed and the other tainted carter enemies
©:-
1) it looks freeekin awesome especially with the crescent blade on the lower end.
2) with each of the seals its toally customisable straight out of the tin.
3)Everytime you make a kill with it all your characters veins luminesce which looks awesome

DA2-The Champions Armour set. It really gave hawke more of a champion look, it matched well with the default hawke design. Nice design and use of colours.

The apostates mask(Not sure if thats the right name) DA2 DLC
I felt the mask suited hawke, as a mage. I would imagine being an apostate, one would want to hide his/her face.

Starf-fang-for design
Anceint Elven Armour- for design
Blood Dragon armour (minus the helmet)- for the stats in DAO and its design.
