I don't know if i should feel good or bad, given as i resemble him, minus the fake mohawk. You people are too judgemental, I don't work out, or use steroids, but i have that built, I am also not a retard. You guys complain always, about everything, Hes too generic, hes too flashy, hes too muscular, hes too human... ect ect.
This is why i mostly dislike these boards since ME2 hype began two years or so ago.

He seems like a cool guy. I like him already. The only way I would really dislike him, though, is he replaces a Krogan companion in your team for most of the game.

I like it. He looks like a military man, but not as much like a meathead as he did in that first picture.

Of course, he could look like Steven Segal and I wouldn't complain if he was well-written. Bioware--I know you guys can write good characters, and Jacob was a cool guy and all, but please oh please give us a human male who isn't scarily well-adjusted. I'd like Vega to have personality flaws pouring out his orifices.

It isn't so much a matter of him being "ugly" as it is a display of some major discord in the placement of his mouth, as well as its width.

Funnily enough, too, I know a lot of guys who have served/are serving in the armed forces and NONE of them look or dress like this guy. So I don't see what your point is. There are people of all appearances in the military.

Anyway like I said in my first post in this thread, I have exactly zero problems with his design PROVIDED that he's SUPPOSED to be a stereotypical jarhead type of character. Because this isn't reality, it's character design and in character design, appearance is supposed to convey who the character is. And that's what he looks like to approximately 75% of this thread, which is a major misfire if that's not who he's supposed to be.

This is about 1000% better and I'm no longer bothered by his face. Proportion issues bother me.

One thing that bugs me about this photo is what is UP with that pose? It just looks awkward. His left shoulder and arm look like they're paralyzed, and why is he making a fist with his right hand? Weird. And the neck tattoo looks trés douche. Like the hairderp wasn't bad enough. Oh, and the pig nose. Better keep the boogers at bay, Vega, because I can see your sinuses from here.

Primarily she moved it closer to the nasal bone and reduced its width. That the lips are slightly fuller you can consider a bonus.
The version we've been treated to features some fundamental disharmony in proportions. I'd be surprised if anyone claimed every character had to look like "models", but there is that slight distortion which equals a trip to uncanny valley going on in Vega's face at the moment.
I think the edit fixes that problem.
