I like his look, I don't care if other's don't agree that's what an opinion is, doesn't it make it wrong or stupid. I respect their views, why can't they respect other's without bashing?

I never used to put much stock in what others have said regarding the supposed "lack of maturity" within BSN. The longer I lurk, the more I start to believe their words. If I acted like this some 20-odd years ago, Ma would've called me an immature little **** and taken away my Atari Lynx for a year. It's not possible to do that here, is it? No? 
 
As I've said before, I'm going to wait on breaking out the torches and pitchforks until I know more about him. He seems like he'd be a total BAMF on the field one second and an absolute sweetie the next. DO WANT.

You know, I can't figure how people can sit there and feel justified after some of the things I've read. I think a few of 'em are pissed because they were half-expecting him to be the Briton sniper in the first ME3 trailer. He just oozed badass. You don't come across too many guys who can survive being held up in Westminster Tower with death and destruction from absolutely everywhere.

Anyway, after gettin' my arse back on Reality Ground, I'm finding myself being drawn to the true Vega. I'm all, "NEED. MORE. INFO/PICS. PLZ, kthxluvukisskissbai!"

Something about how his head sits on his body still rubs me the wrong way. I take no issue with the tough soldier guy vibe/body type, but the actual model is just IRKING me. How the head fits on the neck, and how the neck fits on the torso...my mind is trying to process it, but it just isn't working.

Has any info been given about Mr. Mega's abilities? Is he a purely combat-focused character, or will he get some biotic/tech skills? Frankly, I see no reason why he a muscular man should be excluded from getting the good stuff. Maybe he can go up to enemies and give 'em a great big biotic punch in the face! It would work with the newly expanded melee system.

I was thinking the same thing. About both voice and s/s. I believe he will be apart of the whole S/S romance for MShep. He gives off that kinda vibe that he is. As for voice - I cant even think of anyone in particular x.x

Anyways - I like it because of the fact I dont like it ;D Im glad not every guy is going to be a straightout pretty boy and i agreed with others that he does look kinda "douchy". But i like that. Im ok with not everyone being so "kind". Zaeed and Jack were a breath of fresh air which made me love em. The fact I dont like his appearance [and good gawd his haircut!? LOL! looks like someone tried his own version of kaidens hairstyle.] makes it seem alright.
 
I want to comment on someone's post about what class he might be - Im thinking the male version of Ashley maybe. Another soldier. We really havent had a guy soldier yet. Kaiden was a biotic and so was Jacob.
...oh wait - zaeed was pretty much a soldier type. Nevermind XP

edit: Ah nm. He IS a soldier. My intuition was correct. heh

@kazalagoopagoo James = Survivability and Ashley = Lethality. Both are Soldier types but play very different.

I like Vega's design. It has some character to it.The ME3 cast doesn't have to (and shouldn't) look like a procession of candidates in a beauty contest.

I can totally see him being the s/s love interest if they intend on it being character-specific. Would be interested to see the female s/s interest in that case.

To be honest, he looks like the archetype of a person present in so many different space faring games- the grizzled space marine. He was present in Doom, Halo, and is now coming to ME3!

Personally, I do find James to be a bit disproportionate in more areas than one... Whether he's attractive or not does not matter to me. I'm looking for a character with a unique and interesting personality. The idea that Bioware is giving him the newb perspective to worldly (galaxly?) matters can turn out to be really fun or really mind numbing. It's in their hands now, and I'll reserve my judgment until my shep can interact with him.

In general, every player is not going to like every character in the game- and they shouldn't! That's not how things work in the real world or in good rpgs. All of us have different personalities; each of us will see each character from a unique perspective. Some we'll love, some we'll hate, and some of them we will just leave in Mr. Corner and try to forget that they're there.

This was my best attempt at making him look a little less like a monkey face. Tried to make the nose a little smaller and narrower along with making the nostrils less flared up. I also made his mouth a little smaller. Might have to "Ctrl +" it to see it.
