You forget that Shepard has been upgraded by Cerberus. It's probably the reason why he can fire the Claymore without breaking his arms.

It is more because the Claymre he handles is not Grunt's version but a lighter modifiedone, just like the modified and lighter Widow. Still, I will give his strength some credit to be able to fire those weapons.

I'm super glad that one of the few new squad members is a run-of-the-mill white male space marine with short brown hair. The art department must be working overtime.
