You forget that Shepard has been upgraded by Cerberus. It's probably the reason why he can fire the Claymore without breaking his arms.

Didn't they say he was to be exactly how he was? So no upgrades?

Anyway, I hate the Marry Sue stuff going on with Shepard, he's human at the end of the day, not Superman.

It's an improvement over the earlier images of Vega. I think I can live with the hair now that I've seen the new pic. Vega seems pretty convincing as your average soldier, albeit he's not hot like Rudy Reyes - an ex-Marine who is so drool-worthy that I still can't believe he was an actual Marine. Ahem, in any case, not all the guys have to be metrosexual pretty-boys, and the women don't all have to be supermodels, so I'm cool with the new look.

Im not sure yet, I think it was just Chris Priestly and he likes to deceive us. I remember him saying pre ME2 release that ''if we think that Garrus is Archangel, then we will be dissapointed'' something like that.

If it's for the muscle, sorry, if I compare him with GOW character, Vega seems an average guy.

Dev from Bioware also said that Vega =/= Big Ben sniper.

It would kind of be the best thing ever if they based his personality on Rudy Reyes.

This. Sure his faux mohawk tatoos and all are dudebroish, but his body is realistic, there are guys that look like that IRL, especially in sports. He's obviously bigger than Shepard and Kaidan, but not much bigger than Jacob.
