So what's the problem? He isn't too big. I agree that he's big in comparison of every other ME characters except Jacob, and the reason of his look is probably the same of the new design of Ashley, but he's not something abnormal, and well, there are a lot of soldiers like him.

Nothing wrong with the design, more interested in his personality. Hopefully he isn't a replacement for a krogan though, Wrex and Grunt were some of my favorite squadmates.

While he does have a funny face, I'm not going to judge him yet. He could be a remarkable philosopher or an enthusiastic physicist (although I fear he will follow the 'dumb soldier' stereotype).

He looks perfectly the opposite of everyone's favorite characters, a run of the mill soldier, ugly as one, muscular as one and possibly with the personality of a brick or a meathead, why am i really impressed?, i think i really missed this kind of characters, to all the douchebags in this small thread, you surely haven't faced yourself in the mirror, because you're crying like a 300 pound teenager, people are ugly in real life, your shepard can be ugly, and im glad he's ugly, not everyone is a supermodel in the game and it satisfies me the devs actually made someone like him

I'm fine with him being ugly and muscular, but I really hope he doesn't have the personality of a brick.

So compared to all the supermodels (some even with actual personality) the other romances get having him as the only m/m option would be seriously underwhelming. Also one of the reasons to play video games or watch movies for that matter is that they're nothing like real life, besides a great many people in real life while not quite supermodels are also not that ugly.
Then again many steroid and drug users are, prolonged drug abuse does nothing to improve appearance after all.

It's good to see James Vegas has strong muscular arms. He is going to need them with his role in the fight against the Reapers in my play through. Yep those muscular arms will be put too hard work polishing the boots of all the other squad mates that will do the real fighting.
