  That's my character concept. The blind one.

 In order to stick to the concept, I figured out that I could lose my pc's eyesight permanantely by giving eyes

 to the high priest of the Unseeing Eye.

 I recall I could do that somehow in my previous play through.

 Problem is, I can not do that now. I have no idea what is wrong. no matter how many times I tried to talk him through,

 the dialogue doesn't seem to pop up.

 Any word of advice here?

I haven't messed around much with NearInfinity, but other people create items with it... you probably could create a cursed item for your character that would inflict him with the blindness spell.

If I recall correctly you must do the task the beholder as of you before the option to become blind is availabe although, I recall you have high chance of dying from it.

Considering what the Beholder is up to, you don't want to help him.

They may have removed the option (I don't remember if it legitimately shows up in vanilla). Either way, it leads to instant death IIRC.

It's there as a joke. You can't play the game blind!

Infinity Explorer shows no such option for the Gaal dialog script.
