New characters can be Bi.

And old ones unless they've established in the previous games that they're not into same-sex.MegaBadExample wrote...

In my honest opinion, I'm not saying all characters should magically be turned bi. I can't see Garrus or Tali suddenly be bi. Ashley and Kaidan yes since the option was scripted already, but scrapped.

Hey I'm all for gay/bi romances with new characters. Just... not old ones.

So I have no problem with homosexuality, but do object to bisexuality. Does that mean I'm Biphobic? Polyphobic?
It might explain why I wasn't a fan of DA and found Yeoman Chambers insufferable at any rate.
Edit: I wouldn't bother responding to this little soliloquy.

Since when scrapping an option removes the interest? Did Tali's scrapped romance made her asexual in ME1 until they've reimplemented her romance in ME2? Hmmm you say you're 'all for gay/bi', but want them to be straight, even though you don't gain anything by it.MegaBadExample wrote...
Yes, scrapped. Should stay that way.

I respect your opinion. I'm still on the fence about those two, just thought I'd let it out in the open, see what everyone else thought.MegaBadExample wrote...

I'm not complaining about the absence of the s/s in ME1, I thought it could be a possibility in ME3.GodWood wrote...

God, haters are hating even more here than on DA2.

Leave the characters alone, damn. PLEASE don't make it like Dragon Age when you act nice to your friend and he starts hitting on you.

I'm not sure if there's a topic like this, but am I the only one that wants to see both Kaidan and Ashley to be available to the same sex? I know the option was originally suppose to be available in the first one, so why not try to bring that back into the last of the trilogy?
Oh, I hope so. They have every reason to be. The only thing that would stop them would be repetitive proprietary biphobic protests from those people who assume that the most hateful stereotypes would "pollute" their precious gf or bf from ME1.

Yes, make everyone bi so the players who want to romance them can, but make the player have to initiate the romance with previous characters since it seems silly to have a character who hasn't been flirting with Shepard to suddenly do so. Male Shepard in particular has enough groupies as it is.
I am curious why people can't be "bros" with a bisexual guy (gals don't seem to get as much protest). Speaking from experience, it is possible to have a gay or bi "bro."

Guys this is like the third thread for s/s romances. Can we perhaps merge them somehow?
Don't worry. A moderator will shut this one down as soon as s/he discovers it.

This is NOT a topic to make everyone magically attracted to Shepherd.
This is NOT DA2 making everyone bi (Even I found that rediculous, only Isabela should've been bi).
I wanted to hear opinions if, AND ONLY IF, Kaidan and Ash were to revert to how they were suppose to be in ME1, available to both sexes.

No, they aren't bi. There are new LI for that.
Kasumi's comments on Illium about asari make her sound kinda bi.
Garrus being a raptor-bug-cat-turtle, he probably can't tell a human male from female.
That about it for the known people
Vega looks kinda gay.

In one of my games Garrus is a cold blooded killer, in the other he's learned to be forgiving. Jack is a happy serial killer in one save, but a crying softie in another. Apparently it's perfectly alright to encourage a character to be a murderer, but if you KISS him (again, I use HIM since HE apparenlty raises the most controversy) the player will SUDDENLY realize that he's playing a VG and not experiencing an alternate reality.
