But Kaidan's bisexuality was hinted. HEAVILY.

Horizon -> "Losing you it was like losing a limb...! Why didn't you call me?!?!"

And as we know from ME1 Kaidan screams and snaps only when he's in love with someone.

Logical conclusion -> Kaidan's in love with male Shepard and his feelings are exposed during the emotional moment on Horizon.

So basically 2/3 of Shepard's squad wanted to bang him?

No thankyou. It was bad enough with Tali's "I've always loved you" crap.

Make Vega the m/m romance.

And among that only 1 guy. If you wanna complain about lack of realism, complain about too many females wanting to get into Shep's pants.

People develop an attachment to their friends, even in a non-romantic relationship. It can have the effect of feeling like you've lost a part of your body if someone that close to you dies.

And I purpousedly wrote the part of the post you cut exactly to stress why it's not just a 'friends thing' in the context of Kaidan's character.

just because Kaidan is gay doesnt mean he loves Shepard automatically...For Kaidan to love Shepard simply because Kaidan is gay is shallow.

I think Kadien could be bi.
He's way too well groomed to be completely straight.
Ashley is butch enough to be in the female version of UFC. She could totally be bi too.

I didn't say that. But if it's Shepard who he talks with on Horizon, then it happens to be Shepard he's in love with.

Simply talking to Kaidan doesnt make you play Shepard gay..

Who said that? My point is, the conversation on Horizon clearly hints that Kaidan is in love with Shep (of either gender), not that Shep has to be in love with Kaidan.

kaidan must be gay, his face is so glowing on Horizon , it must be love ... unless he descends from the House of Elrond or Galadriel or something .

Does that mean I want to see misplaced commas?

To get back on topic, yes.  Yes, please.  Kaidan is not my first choice for an SS LI, nor is Ashley, but I would not be opposed to having them as options regardless of my Shepard's sex.

I'm not sure if there's a topic like this, but am I the only one that wants to see both Kaidan and Ashley to be available to the same sex?  I know the option was originally suppose to be available in the first one, so why not try to bring that back into the last of the trilogy?

NO... And her is my reason why.

To put this in some context, I'm going to have to talk about playing Mass Effect 1 as ManShep and
FemShep...I had already romanced Ash as ManShep. When I got around to finally playing as FemShep there was no other character who interested more than Ash.I still wished to be with her, regardless of the fact that we were now the same gender. But BioWare prevented this from taking place. Image IPB At first I was disappointed, but then it occured to me that I kind of liked the fact that they decided not to make Gunnery Chief Ashley Williams into such a tired an worn stereotype of, " Ooh.. She's strong, athletic and a soldier -- She must be a lesbo!" Image IPB
I read an article a while back that said when Mass Effect was still in its production phase, Ash/Kaidan were both bi-sexual.But in Ash case I'm glad they decided to make her go against the grain of expectations. In
fact one of the things thst I like so much about her character is how many wonderful contradictions that she's full of.Her behavior is kind of unpredictable in some ways.

I'll never forget how surprised I was when during the Virmire mission she volunteered to work with the STG.Or how she's "not the biggest fan of aliens" and believes humanity needs to "stand on its own" but she can't stand the Terra Firma Party or Cerberus, and she would never give them her support. And how even though
she has every reason to hate the Alliance after how they have treated her grandfather, herself and her lover (Commander Shepard) she has decided to "tough it out" with them. Image IPB

Like I said, "Unpredictable Behavior."

Kaidan Alenko: With him I think BW made a mistake in not allowing the possibilty of a same sex relationship with Commander Shepard.Despite the fact that during character creation we were not permitted to decide Shepard's sexual orientation. It would have been really cool to have the possibilty of  Kaidan being the first male that he ever felt about in a romantic way.For it to be his first time. That could have been a very interesting
place to go in a video game. Image IPB

Maybe ManShep will get a chance to explore such feelings with Kaidan in ME 3...

But I think Ashley should stay heterosexual. Image IPB

This again. Good times.

As long as Bioware leaves existing characters' orientation alone, I could care less. Bioware is Hellbent on riding the politically correct train but as long as they avoid trashing the characters and lore that they've already established then I won't complain.

Never forget the disaster that was the transiton from Awakening to DA2 by Anders. Poor, destroyed Anders. RIP.

Closing thoughts: I hope Bioware focuses more on the friendship and comradery between squadmates instead of making ME3 a dating sim.

I think all the squad mates will probably be made bisexual actually because all the s/s supporters seem to expect that certain characters (Garrus, Tali etc.) will be s/s so they'll probably just do what they did with DA 2.

Which is completely fine with me, as long as in the end they don't displease and alienate big portions of their fanbase (as they did in the previous games excluding s/s romances). Every single character bisexual is the future!

I hope for the next licence in the future, Bioware make squadmates in the beginning who are hetero and gay and no change her sexualite for the last episode for the fanbase :bandit:.

Blowing up a man to prevent him from hitting on you,  I do declare... lulz.

I do not tire mentioning how some people slaughter Zevran not because he intended to assassinate the Warden, but because he starts flirting with him.

I did that. I'd do the same to Kaidan if he starts flirting with Shepard in ME3. I will literally start at Mass Effect, leave him on Virmire, and play all the way back to ME3.

I doubt that Kaidan would become exclusively s/s, more likely bisexual if he is a s/s option. Nothing for your femSheps to worry about.

Unless they are weirded out by bisexuality, then I pity them. My Kaidan romance femShep is totally gonna think that's great.

I always got the vibe Kaidan was bi. But if he hits on me I'll be pissed, even more when he knows that my Shepard isn't gay/bi.
