Yes, I signed up for the British army (although I dropped out due to family reasons) so i dont see why I wouldn't sign up for the Alliance, having the added benefit of seeing various different worlds and cultures.

I don't understand how you can think that combat then isn't going to be raw, did you see the scene where Eden Prime was attacked. Don't think tech/biotic skills or barriers helped them soldiers on there that got huskified, do you?

Respected, feared, able to travel all around the galaxy and meet strange new aliens. I'd love that.

Getting assigned to a human Alliance ship, living on it for months on end...not too keen on that. Nor getting an assignment on some godforsaken outpost and sit around (or fight terrible monsters).

But seeing as Spectres are rare...probably diplomatic corps. The cool thing would be meeting new alien cultures and seeing the big sights of the galaxy. The military isn't about having fun exploring other cultures.

Probably not. I'm not suited for military life (no discipline, don't like the excess of orders, messy person, fiery temperament). But I would try to get involved with other planets in another way.

Space travel is most likely very expensive,so the best way to get off world and see some of the galaxy would probally be to enlist.

Well i would like to be a soldier first then try to be a Spectre or after some time in the military travel the galaxy to make criminal scum pay
