Here's to Maraas, the finest Tal-Vashoth we shall ever see! I vote for him to become a companion in a future installment, be it an expansion or a game in the future.

He was easy on the eyes and had a nice voice to boot. If only we could have seen him in action...

You can see him in action. He will help you in the battle against the Tal-Vashoth if you choose the agressive personality option.

Ah, which is why I never had that come up. I've done the diplomat angle, the snarky diplomat, and the complete smart-*ss. You'd think you could snark him into fighting, but I guess not.Mr.Fellows wrote...

He's one of the few non-companion NPCs to use the new animations. The Grey Wardens are the others.

I think he'd make an interesting companion, if the writers included him in new DLC. I think it would be interesting to find out how this Tal-Vashoth views the world and what made him abandon the Qun, since we get some different perspectives from Merrill because of her Dalish background and her culture shock in a human city, and from Fenris as a Tevinter fugitive. I think it'd make sense for Hawke to side with Maraas if he ends up being hired for a task that coincides with Hawke's goals.

I agree. It would be interesting to see how a Tal-Vashoth views the world in contrast to how Sten viewed the world. He says that his life is now comfortably empty and that he sees the appeal, and I'd like to learn more about him.

Maybe he'll be the kossith in Seeker armor we've seen concept art for.

Technically, he does not see himself as Tal-Vashoth and the Qunari think he is worse anyhow (being a merc).
But yea he was interesting.

Doesn't he call himself "Tal-Vashoth, once of the Wounded Coast" when you speak to him in Act 3?

He says that he is neither Tal-Vasoth or Qunari.

He tells you what you want to hear, you bas do not listen to anything but the words that fall from a mans lips consider why you were there and the role he plays and deduce the reason for his presence. The child accepts all that is given, the man must search for more or never find the Qun.
