 I have an older machine but meet all specs for the game and have a Geforce GTX 550 Ti card.  Any ideas?

1.  If you still have DAO installed, did it run with the new GPU? 

2.  What did you learn from any of the previous 50 or 60 questions, and answers, about the same exact question?

Admittedly, all but just one of those 3,000 are going to be DAO, but since they use the same game engine, they are entirely relevant.  Every time this thing crops up again, I regret the existence of the terrible bad excuse for a search here in the Social Forums, versus the failure to automatically archive year-old threads that have no activity for years and years, but remain the preferred target for the bad Find tool . .

Because of the way that stupid thing doesn't work, I periodically scan through everything that it does bring up (over forty just for DAO), making sure all at least suggest that there are fixes for three different kinds of things that trigger that error message.
