Which code? Where are you trying to enter it? What is the error report that is returned? Was the game preowned?

The registration code, the one you enter in order to install and play the game. I type it in and it tells me it's invalid. It's not pre-owned, just took the stickers and wrapping off today.

Anyways, when it comes to codes and accounts, theres nothing we can actually do for you here, apart from telling you to contact EA support, as they do the official tech support for the game.

The registration code for Mass Effect 2 for PC should be a 20 digit code (5 sets of 4 numbers).
If you have received a new copy of Mass Effect 2 for the PC and are having issues installing the game with the code provided, please contact the Customer Experience team of EA at http://support.ea.com and select "Contact Us". Make sure you have your account information, including email address and date of birth, along with your code, ready for the agent to verify. Once verified, they will work with you to get this resolved quickly.
