Okay, the last video was taken down on youtube - understandably due to copyright. So I decided to use the same footage from the previous video using different music and arrangement of the clips and have come up with something that doesn't upset any big media company on youtube (I hope.)

As I stated on the previous post - all the clips I developed myself using the dragon age toolset. I've also set this video up with the new creative commons licence/remix option on youtube to allow people to use my clips for their own videos.

Anyway, this video is set before Dragon Age Origins and the character is my interpretation of a young Solona Amell. You can see this video here:

Hope you enjoy it!

I actually managed to get the original video onto Metacafe which you can see here: http://www.metacafe...._age_machinima/

"Eva is a young mage who struggles to gain acceptance by the folk in her village..so she seeks comfort and adventure from within her dreams... within the fade."

Hope you enjoy it! :)

Both very melancholic pieces, but while I liked the first, it was mostly influenced by the haunting music score. I thought it could really benefit from more video footage to tell the actual story :).

The second video, however, is outstanding! Granted it is a lot longer, but the whole composition of music, story and video came together just right. Very enjoyable to watch, thank you for sharing :).

Question: at about 3:30, between the transition from real to the fadedream with the mother (or older sister?)... does Eva actually use blood magic? Looked like bloodied hand in one of the frames... or is that hand of the boy who killed the wolf?

Rheia - thank you very much, I really appreciate the feedback and I am really glad you enjoyed the video! :-)

Those were Eva's hands at c.3:30 but the blood is on the ground so maybe in the quick transition it was a bit confusing? In retrospect, having Eva resort to blood magic might have had more impact upon the overall story - sadly I didn't think of that idea at the time.

The first video was my attempt to salvage the Eva video where I was wondering how I could still use a similar concept but without having the video blocked. I'm generally happy with how it came together but I agree that it may seem fragmented and a little too short for some.
