UGH. I hate glitches like this. Some random kid sends me an invite to a group that is later deleted, then creates the group again, invites me, an deletes it again, and I CAN'T GET RID OF THE GHOST UPDATES. I tried dismissing the updates and logging out/logging in, and that didn't work. FRUSTRATING!!!!! :pinched:

Ugggghhh! That had better not be the case for me, I will go OFF on somebody (like the web people who programmed this frickin' site in the first place). Hey BioWare, fix your [asterisks] website. >:(

Mine likes to tell me about a picture that was from a deleted group.

I had an issue like that in my old account (curse you hackers!), a group invitation. Another person I know has also had issues with ghost messages.
As far as I know, there's no solution ::(

So BioWare's response is what? "Our site is glitched to the max, too bad, we don't care"?

With Group invites if you know the Group number you can remove them by have someone sending you and invite clicking accept/reject Right clicking Reject Clicking "Inspect Element" on the menu You will get a box with text like this
Image IPB

Where it say Value="XXXX" Replace that number with the group number
then Click Reject on the pop up window you right click on and it should be gone.

Note this it with the Chrome Browser

I have one ghost notification too. I have tried everything, nothing fixes it completely. It will show up again when I recieve new notifications. Incredible annoying.

I have not tried tanpering the site, will do next time.

I have 3 ghost updates. I don't know any of the group numbers so I guess I will stay a sad scamper.

I have six (5 invites and 1 message) and yes Celrath's fix did not work for me. But not because it isn't a good one, but because the reject button never comes up.

Now I have three, the invisible e-mail and two invites that when you click on the Accept/reject button it asks if you want to join the group.  If you click on that, it tells you it will let you know.

So, partial fix.  Better than none.
