So Evolution plays out right after the first contact war, right? How come The Illusive Man hasn't aged AT ALL during the 30-35 years between the comic and Mass Effect 2? He looks exactly the same! Did I miss something? Where does it fit into the timeline?!

Actually, he does look younger in the comics.
Though if you want a better explanation then look to the books: Basically, the human lifespan has increased to roughly 150 years. So in the ME Universe, 50 is the new 30.
