Liara is to Shepard, as Benezia is to Saren.
See the similarity?

Both would face death rather than not be with Shepard/Saren.

With the DLC you can start a new game from scratch in ME2 and make choices, including save council, LI, Racni queen, Wrex, VS, ( maybe others I forget ), from ME1. They made this for PS3 players but made it available for xbox ( for PC you can download a savegame from a website ). So you don't have to play ME1 again to get your different options available for ME3. It does not have a lot of other decisions, but its better than playing ME1 again. I also infer that maybe the other choices in ME1 are not critical otherwise ME3 would not be viable for PS3 players.

And don't worry, Liara will always be there to throw herself at Shepard. Tali and Ashley may not be pleased, but it'll happen. Ne'er you fear.

Feron. There.

Now, Kaidan and Ashley's I could see being romanced if you didn't before, mainly because they're probably also the ones getting an S/S romance.

Liara is a creep xD

Okay, we're bros again.

It kinda depends on your game play in reality, i mean c'mon exactly how is it creepy to have a piece of your armor if she was your LI, and even if you weren't in some people's minds she could be a really good friend.

In your gameplay it seems she was an obssesive teenage girl. In mine she was my Shepards LI

See, the problem is that both of those are supposed to be legitimate ways to play the game. Without chreating or breaking any of the gameplay in ME1 or ME2, I have a story where my Shepard was a huge jerk to Liara who never spoke to her after she mind-raped him, and in the context of my story, Liara comes across as an incredibly creepy stalker.

And yet, Bioware completely ignores and dismisses my canon. Thus far, your story (the one where Liara is Shepard's lover or a good friend) is the only legitimate story. Often, I feel like I'm playing the game "wrong" by not being friends with Liara, as the game often railroads me into hugging her or being friendly with her, and at times it actually punishes me for trying to keep a professional distance.

The fact that Liara kept my Shepard's dogtags after he rejected her offer to have drinks suggests that Liara is going to add them to her "Shepard collection," and reinforces my opinion that she is a creepy, obsessive fangirl. Will Bioware address this issue in ME3? I doubt it. It is likely that Bioware will railroad me another situation where Shepard and Liara are best friends, and I'll be reminded once again that I played the game "incorrectly."

You mean a piece of the armour she pried off of Shepherd's frozen and destroyed corpse?

My Shepherd has a photo of her in his quarters, he doesn't have a pair of her panties in a display case.
