*Least* Wanted Features in ME3: A thread about Anti-Fun

A perfect rainbow and bunnies ending. This is war FFS!
Horizon scene not being address properly or ignored. That needs to be resolved perfectly or a good be perfect plot line/romance arc would be wasted. So much potential there.
Recharging weapons.
Less armor for squadmates. The characters from ME2 were awesome. But having no real options for them in terms of armor was a let down.
Shepard as a mary sue. ME1 while it had it moments regarding this it wasn't bad. ME2 was awful in this aspect. Shepard needs more human features!

Then how do you explain any of the tech powers that come from the omni-tool?jollyorigins wrote...
Bisexual Garrus, lets pray to God it never happens. Also, the omni-blade, it don't get how a hologram of a knife acts like a real-knife, why not just give soldier Shepard a retractable metal knife coming from their armor gloves?

Paragon/Renegade requirements for dialogue options.
(Yeah, I know - not happening)
I think this is by far one of the biggest flaws of the series. The game punishes you for living in the gray area. Real life isnt all black in white. In my 1st playthroughs I always choose the action the I would do in real life, this often leaves me in the grey and punishes me by not letting me do some of the dialogue options. Instead any action the convince another character to see things your way should build a persuasion meter netural of paragon/renegade The system in place now forces you to be only paragon or only renegade and it forces players to pick only those options and takes away players choice.

Why would they? It is made by a different team than ME's.Raizo wrote...
ME1's inventory.
Mission complete screens.
Excessive Repetetive tasks such as Scanning or the Hacking/Bypass mini games. I understand why they were in ME2 and why they will be coming back in ME3 but Bioware really needs to do somthing about how often the gamer has to do these monotonus tasks.
I would really hate it if managing my squad in Me3 was similar to the way it was in DA:O or DA2. hate those games, it's too much of a chore keeping everyone happy, say something and you make 1 character happy at the expense of pissing off someone else. By no means do I want ME3 to be a simplistic game, I expect that there will be moments when we will have to chose who our alies are in ME3 and that we may have to dissapoint some people but but if the ME development team goes down the DA route than I'm afarid that is too much micro management for my liking.
I don't want former ME2 squad mates to be reduced to just cameo roles, I want the option to be able to get them to join me and recruit them as squad mates.
I don't want a cheap cop out for how Shepard can defeat the Reapers.
I want to keep my Spectre status in ME3 and I want it to mean somthing in ME3. I will be soo angry if ME3 comes out an I find that it has either been revoked by the Council ( on account of the incident with the Batarians ) or that it means nothing ( like it did in ME2 ).

s/s option tali
s/s option garrus
Or any past LI options becoming s/s options just make new characters for that.
shep still not caring or concerned over his death and potential reaper tech
the lazarus project to be glossed over again I want explanations I'd prefer a large readable data cache downloaded to shep's computer go here to read specifics me and others are looking for this packet to contain: social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/323/index/7730998
Jack and Kasumi back on the team ft one's crazy and the other knows there is no need for her skills in the military.
the shut up ren interrupts they're rude. Just have overall interrupts that will give a tactical advantage or allow shep to show if they're offended by someone or for someone (krogan headbutt)
less neon sign interrupts far too many in ME2 and just reward both para and ren scores for using them don't divide them into para interrupt or ren one just make interrupt only.
ME2 puny inventory.
2's puny store inventory really the whole economy runs like it does when stores only have 6 items for sale and never restock or get new items in?
I don't want BW bringing up dark situations and then running away screaming from them just as fast Mornith and others were like this.
Ren's continuing to be jerks and not be punished for it
Para's choices always working I did like how in Arrival my para warn the colony actually backfired!
Shep not being able to be traumatized and not only show it but say so if he/she gets hacked/ possessed again
Shep maintaining brick control in scene that are made to be upsetting to the player.
LI's going Liara syndrome or Horrizonitis in 3.
thermal clips
tactical cloak lasting 3 seconds or 1 shot boost it make it last 5 min regardless of shots fired or killing you're doing.
not being able to act on the news reports I hear.
Tali and Garrus being PT or temp squad mates I need them FT!
Planet scanning everything I want boots on the ground in my mako
Flying around in a miniature mouse Normandy
Refueling and probe buying and I can't sell or buy minerals in market.
End-mission stat screens
Spandex in space get suits on when in zero G or on hazard worlds people
blackout love scenes really? how pg of you BW go back to ME style tasteful.
The HH coming back this ride is terrible I want the mako.

Planet Scanning: How is it that the SR-2 has this amazingly advanced AI, yet cannot automate simple planet scanning?
Paragon/Renegade being used as the Charm/Intimidate skill: This method is flawed because it assumes that the player choose an Intimidate response for a Renegade reason, or a Charm response for a Paragon reason, which might very well not be the case. It also railroads the player into playing full-on Paragon or full-on Renegade, with Paragade/Renegon players punished because they won't get the Charm or Intimidate options in certain situations.
Having to manually move the Normandy about the map, and having to buy fuel: Why is it that ME2 "streamlined" everything to hell and back, yet when it comes to scanning planets and flying about the map, it makes things more involved?
Thermal clips being functually identical to an ammo system: Why is it that I can expend all the thermal clips for my Widow, yet still have a plenty for my SMG and pistol, which I apparently cannot use in the Widow. Aren't they supposed to be universal? Why doesn't the gun ever cool off? If you're going to use the thermal clip system, at least make it work like it's supposed to according the lore.
Quick-time events or other twitch elements: Self explanatory.

Edit: Well, I won't be around for the complaints, anyway. I'm vacating these forums 2 weeks before ME3 to avoid douches posting spoilers like when 2 came out.

Squadmates charging into battle in spandex, casual outfits, or pieces of armor missing. While I know plot armor protects them, can we at least pretend there's an element of risk in gunfights?
Consequences limited to emails, news reports, and cameos. I somehow expect more from an imported save. In fact, if there was no personal terminal at all, I'd be quite happy. Alternatively, a renegade interrupt that would have Shepard smash said terminal with a baseball bat would also be satisfactory.
Hammerhead. 'Nuf said,
Linear upgrades with no downsides. Bo-ring!
Weak central story. The Reapers are here. Here's hoping they permeate every aspect of the game. I really really don't want to have to go clearing out more merc bases because Miranda's neighbor's cousin's dog is missing.

2: Silly clothes worn by squadmates on missions.
3: No stupid Hammerhead unless they boost it's shields/armor and offensive capabilities.
4: No stupid Mako unless they fix steering and level designs.
5: The upgrade system being as dull and uninteresting as ME2's (granted this one seems unlikely to happen).
