Terrible sex scenes, I don't want anything like hentai obviously. But look at the one in ME1 and compare it to ME2. Enough said.

*Multiplayer
*Planet scanning and mining...It was cool for like 5 mins, after that I wanted to die.
*Stat based aiming
*Forced Paragon/Renegade playthrough to achieve bonus dialogue options.
*Lame cameos ( if Liara or Wrex don't join me this time I will cry, no really I will. I'm fragile like that.)
*Characters walking around almost topless. Jack we get it, you think your badass. But maybe you should put on a little bit of armor. Its a war, not a porn film. At least Miradna had clothing.
*Too much focus on Cerberus. Reapers are the main enemies, not Cerberus.
*Minigames (unless they are actually good, which would be a miracle.)
*And most importantly the inclusion of the awesome button. (Didn't work in DA2, it won't work now.)

That was about as interesting as watching flies fvck.

hmmm what i would nat want?
hard to say, i was always thankful for what i got from Bioware so far.
hmmm lets say.... i'd say no to:

MMO or co-op (although its confirmed that there wont be any, we all know how dramatic can producers turn out to be when they want money.. :/ )

sexual orientation changes (yeah, some of the characters have already been designed to be like they were so far, dont change them..)

shep death at ending by story default (yeah i would hate that to my gut)

no freeplay after ending (yeah i know they made us happy with how ME2 worked, just wanted to show how REALLY happy they made us lol)

dialogue deadends like calibrations (that really made me hate the luck of imagination there was in dialogues. its just a few more money for a few more recordings. just make ti worthwhile please...)

ME2 mining (i really got bored to hell with it..)

unclear or imperfect story coverups for story changes or character appearances (Liara, Ashlay, Gaidan comebacks etc etc)

super items (like those guns and the suit in ME1 imported via console commands~)

expensive DLC (just sayin..)

well... i could not think of much more, i guess im not too needy :P
just that will do for me to have a happier gameplay for ME3 than ME2 or ME1.

Things I don't want to see in future Mass Effects and other RPGs.
  • Mini-games in general. I never wanted to play another mini-game again in my life after playing Mass Effect 2. If there are mini-games, they should be unmandatory, and they shouldn't benefit the player character versus not doing them.
  • Planet scanning. Seriously, all this does is waste my time and destroy my wrist. I have better things to do.
  • Mission complete screens. It's just one of those things that take me out of character.
  • Driving and refueling the Normandy on the galaxy map. It didn't add anything to Mass Effect 2.
  • ME2 interrupts. QTEs suck. And it was practically impossible to know what Shepard would do.
  • Paragon/renegade requirements for dialog/actions. I think paragon/renegade reputation is fine for influencing success, but imo it shouldn't influence whether our Shepard can actually try.
  • The current dialog wheel. Questions should be questions, not accusations and assertions. Paragon actions shouldn't mean we are apologist suck ups. Renegade shouldn't mean that we are belligerent jerks. Paraphrases should actually be representative of the spoken line(s).
  • Excessive involuntary player character actions. Before my character does anything, I want to be consulted as often as possible.
  • Excessive cinematics. I think in-game events are more dramatic.
  • BioWare's version of Shepard. My version of Shepard is far more interesting than anything BioWare can make up.
  • Limited ammo. My preference is for Mass Effect 1's unlimited ammo with overheat, because I could always use the weapons that I liked.
  • Ammo powers. If there's a global cooldown I would also prefer ammo switching to be separate from that.
  • Nerfed biotics. They were arguably overpowered in Mass Effect 1, but the nerfing that happened to Mass Effect 2 was imo overkill.
  • Multiple input bound to one key.
  • Depth-of-field. The 'depth-of-field' that's used in games is fake, hideous, and obfuscatory. Let us turn it off.
  • Vignetting. Not that big of a deal, but I'd prefer to be able to turn it off.

Actually, Bioware indirectly confirmed that Shepard won't die unless you totally screw up like in 2. They stated already that you'll be able to continue playing after finishing it. That would be tough to do with a dead man.

All characters being bisexual...some make sense, Kaiden is really clean cut and polite, so it makes sense that he might have a bit of gay in him. Ashley also seems to fit it (although on second thought maybe they should keep her straight so they can preserve the fact that girls can be badass/out there without having to be lesbians) but if all the squad mates are bisexual then that just makes the games more like a dating sim and its kind of annoying that they focus so much on romance content just so they don't displease a small portion of their fanbase that wants the game to be more romance focused.

I don't want the mandatory mini-games that the previous games have had (maybe just make them rarer)

Multiplayer, cerberus being focused on over reapers and mini games (If you have to scan planets a message should come up showing how many people are dead or dying while you scan).

I want them to get a better bypass minigame. I didn't mind hacking in ME2 and bypassing in ME1 on PC (which was 360 degree frogger). The good thing about the frogger bypass was that it was sometimes challenging without being time consuming. I bypassed some lockers in a second. In ME2 bypassing takes too long.

* Squaddies running around in non-sensical gear on missions.
* "Mission Complete" screens.
* Arbitrary XP with no context.
* Self-feeding Paragon/Renegade system (ala ME2).
* ME2's linear research/upgrade system.
* Physically flying the Normandy around in the galaxy map.
* Completely linear item locations.
* Giant pop-ups.
* Ineffective biotics.
* Completely global cooldowns (type-based global is okay though).
* Weapon powers instead of mods.
* The Hammerhead (not without a massive upgrade).

One of the things I want is to have BioWare bring back infinite ammo. Have the guns overheat but, to speed up the cooldown have a limited amount of thermal clips to eject.

I just comment this as disagreement, not trying to argue, because eveyrone can have they own opinions. I consider this actually one of a few best features in ME2. I know what Terror_K means, lack of choises for players, but this feature wasn't the real issue behind the issue. As this was just automatic upgrade system, what is allways linear system (item +1 -> item +2 -> item +3 and so on..)

I can only assume that the one game you've played from BioWare is Mass Effect 2. Most of my complaints were Mass Effect 2 specific.

Actually, a bunch of them carry over into Mass Effect 1 as well.

I forgot about the pop-ups. They can be a bit annoying. At the very least I'd like to be able to turn the pop-ups off with a check box.

You keep going on about "arbitrary" as if 15 XP for monster Y isn't. Adding arbitrary numbers into a total is still arbitrary.

Linear research? As opposed to DAO's linear skill research? As opposed to ME1's linear weapon progression. All ME2 did was to unmask a bit the old BG trope of finding a bunch of +1 weapons and then a bunch of +2 weapons. All RPG progression is linear like that.
