I am not sure why the online portal is so idiotic or is it just EA? I had 400 bioware points and was purchasing the ME2 Genesis Comic for 320. Everything was looking fine and even confirmed it by checking the "I agree blah stuff" then when it came up it said that I complete purchasing the Aegis pack???? Here is the funny thing, I've already purchased that pack and shouldn't it say that I already have purchased that pack? I even have the receipt for this double purchase so I am not pulling it out of my rear end.
What is even more dumb is the EA online support they put you in a Que and at the end of the chat Que it states there is no one that can help you but you have to wait over an hour? Wow talk about you guys taking my money and running with it. Serious get your heads out of your own rear ends and help your customers the right way and have a web portal that isn't so buggy. That is why I never like buying these DLC I've heard issues before but man I wished I never pressed the I buy button...
Anyone know where I can go to get the help I need? This is getting annoying!
Was buying ME Comic and Charged me for Aegis Pack???

Hi,
I had a similar problem, but first ... I wouldn't blame EA. Lately, I had some very positive experience with EA and EA customer support. They are making a real attempt. At the same time BioWare are really bad nowdays from the support point of view. They ignore you, don't reply, redirect to publishers or simply don't provide any support. Jade Empire SE is a glowing example. EA is like Cerberus, - poor reputation, but doing good things, actually.
Now to your problem. The DLC web store is very glitchy. Sometimes, you choose one plugin to buy, press Buy, but then it glitches and switches to another plugin. I had this twice. If you don't pay much attention, you confirm a wrong plugin. Then, you buy it twice.
To solve the problem, you indeed should go to EA support http://support.ea.com/ and contact them directly, i.e. "chat". Sometimes, you have to wait, but then chat in real time. Explain that you payed for the plugin twice (for the same account). The store Should Block second purchase of the same DLC. They have it as a function! But sometimes it does not work. Explain that it should block, but it didn't. They can immediately check it out online, and if they see that you indeed payed twice for the same DLC, they will return your points back.
When you buy a DLC next time, please check that you "confirm" the right stuff, it is then, when you points are taken.

To get the best out of your interaction with the Customer Experience team, please make sure you have all your account information ready for the agent to verify. You will need to have your date of birth, the email address of the account, and the dates of the mistaken purchase. If they can verify ownership of the account with you, they should be able to see through the purchases that you bought the same DLC twice. Once they have isolated the error, they will work out options to get this resolved with you.
You can contact them by selecting "Contact Us" at http://support.ea.com after logging in.
