So I kinda screwed myself in BG1. I played at a lower difficulty for a large section of the game, not realising that I'd recieve less experience. Now it's reached the point where I'm stuck because my level is too low and everything is much tougher than me! Is there a cheat or something that I could use to get my level up a bit? (because at this point I really just want to finish BG1 so I can move onto the much better sounding sequel)
Anyway to increase XP?

You can set your XP to anything you want to up to the cap (89,000 in original BG1 or 161,000 with TotSC). There are loads of guides on the internet telling you how to operate the cheats - for instance see Dan Simpson's walkthrough at http://www.gamefaqs....-gate/faqs/2456

Cheers, thanks for that. I probably should have just done a search for cheats come to think of it...[walks away sheepishly]

I recommend Shadowkeeper for its user-friendly interface. You can use it for most things without having to deal with the cryptic and easily messed-up CLUA commands.

I find CLUA quite handy. You need to read the notes. But setcurrentxp is an easy enough command.
