Hey

I get that the option to Force Attack an NPC appears rather rarely in the original campaign. Is there perhaps an exploit that lets you turn neutral critters hostile?

Thanks in advance

If I may ask, why do you want to do that? If it's just for the XP, you can use the console...

Sort of, think of the situation where you have the choice to save or kill Galen the merchant at Forte Locke.
Save him first, get his reward and buy his stuff. Afterward kill him for his rapier and gold.

- all lowercase works on some machines:

(Edit, right-click the critter first)

`
DebugMode 1
DM_Setfaction Hostile
DebugMode 0
`

- tested this and it works. But if the creature is flagged as Plot or Immortal, could get into .. issues. Changing Hostile to Friendly (etc) did not work!

- NPCs aren't likely to drop their loot.

- strongly suggest making a perma-save right before attempting this; Quest Characters are sorta irreplaceable.
