Well recently i found out their is going to be a same sex romance in the upcoming ME3 and at first i didnt really care but when i started to think about it the only real option would be for Vega, the new alaince marine to join your squad, be the new gay squadmate.

Now this isnt a gay bashing thread so any hateful people please refraim from posting, but seriously bioware what are you thinking? first of all their arent to many gays in the military their are even less in the Marine, and Second it would be even more impossible for their to be a homosexual in the infantry ecspecially as some one as experienced as Vega is made out to be.

Sooooo I beleive it necessary that bioware make an option that would strip out all gay dialog and romance from the game because seriously who wants to hear about Vega's feelings? all i want to hear from him is how much he loves killing some ugly aliens

I'm starting to think a "No Romance" option would be better.

Hmm..... well one of the few people I know that were actually in the military while I knew them was bisexual. And that was before "Don't Ask Don't Tell" was repealed. Also, this is how many years into the future? Surely attitudes about such trivial things as orientation have progressed by then. Also, the title of this made me lol because all I could think of was Shep going "No ****** bro, no ******!"

EDIT: Ah, he changed the title now. :(

Do not flirt with him, and hopefully your wish will be granted.  I did not want to romance anyone with my main Shepard in ME2, and I was able to hold conversations with the crew without being sexually assaulted.

Here's a hint that works quite well in Bioware games, regardless of gender or orientation: If you don't want to hear about 'feelings' don't ask about them.

Its so simple even a caveman can do it.

How in gods name would being gay make you less experienced in the military? People gay and straight have opinions and feelings and for a videogame to show it tells you they give a damn in order to make a good story. You wanna play a gun toting retard with the personality of a bit of cardboard go play Duke Nukem. The fact the homosexuals are looked down on in the U.S. military is shameful and if thats not the case in the fictional Mass Effect universe than good.

Btw its hard to say this isnt a gay bashing thread when your opening statements seem very anti-gay.

lol yeah im still pissed that we got rid of dont ask dont tell and true maybe in the future they would fix the problem but we are in the present not the future so it doesnt change how i feel even though the game is in the future
