Regret isn't productive.

Instead, why not take the oppertunity to consider why the thread turned out the way it did?

It's not just because people disagree with you. This isn't you coming in here and saying strawberry ice cream is best, there should be the option to turn off all other flavours of ice cream in 'Mass Effect 3', then having a bunch of people shout you down because they prefer chocolate.

Rather, the reason the thread has generated so vehement a response is because what you're asking for is, for all intents and purposes, an option to "turn off" same sex options. To, essentially, render them non-existent. You can understand why that might put people in a fighting mood, right? If someone was to say to you, "Hey, look, I don't have any problem with you or what you do, but I would really prefer it if you simply did not exist," you might not react to them in a positive manner, yeah?

Only reason I would say no to same sex ( Other than fem Shep and Liara since that was done) is that through out the games Shepard has shown no since of being gay (Well at least the male one) It would feel rather shoe horned in just to please people that have been pushing for this. Besides there's more important things to do in ME3 than having a comming out party on the Normandy
