You insulted your own intelligence by posting something like that.

Being gay is not a choice.  One can choose whether or not to act on those feelings, but whether or not those feelings are present is not a choice.  And one can be a homosexual virgin; acting on those feelings is not a necessary prerequisite to being gay.

Why do people insist that we choose who we are attracted to? I didn't choose to be straight and I have never been able to choose whom I am physically attracted to.  

However, if you're bisexual, you can choose to pursue only one gender.  And it's far easier to put aside your attraction to the same gender if you're also attracted to people of the opposite gender. It's not that people choose to be bisexual, mind you. It's just that when you're bisexual, you have more options.

yeah but i still want to talk to the character hes a grunt and a marine so he already is a badass why cant they just change the dialog to something else thats all 

In mass effect 2 both Miranda and Garrus do not show an interest in you until you initiate dialogue that suggests you are romantically interested in them. Just do not pick that dialoge option and you will never know.

Being "born" gay is not the same as being born black or white. No matter how much you try to spin it it will never be the same.

Why? Because you haven't personally, to your knowledge, met a gay marine? Considering the policy on being openly gay in the US military I'm not surprised. That said, are you telling me right now, that there's no way a gay man would join the Marines out of a sense of duty, and a desire to protect the freedoms of a country he loves just as much as you?

Too bad bisexuality is the cheapest way to add romance options, as it allows one single character to be on two romance paths with hardly any new lines/animations added.
Also, same sex romance has already been present in both ME 1 and ME 2, for femShep (Liara in 1, Kelly in 2). So OP complains are a bit late.

Exactly why people should be against it. Cheapens the value of the story. I think they should just get rid of the class system and allow players to pick and choose their powers. Much easier than ballancing.
