1. What is the nature of the problem you are seeing?
Game crashes as soon as I go to the shuttle after attending the 1st part of Tali's trial, the screen freezes but the sounds in the background keep playing. I have to open up task manager and force quit.

2. When did the problem start occurring?
After I downloaded and installed appearance pack 2, I do not know if this is the case since I was starting a new game after installing it.

3. Where does your problem occur?
Right at the double doors leading to the room with the shuttle to the Alerei

4. What are the steps in replicating the problem?
Start mission, go to the trial pick the blue paragon option the first chance you get and the renegade one the second time it prompts you. After trial talk to all the NPCs about everything including the docking bay capitain. Does not matter who you take as second companion. Then take the back hall towards the shuttle and the minute the double doors to the shuttle start opening it freezes.

5. Have you modified your game in any way?
      Nope.

If anyone has any insight into this please let me know, I've beaten the game several times already but failed to back up my saves and have lost them, as much fun as it is to play I'd rather save the extra time :)

Crashing in the same spot is normally indicative of corrupt files. Either your save is corrupt. or the data files for the area into which you are transitioning are corrupt.
Try an earlier save, if it still crashes, then attempt a reinstall.

I also tried reverting to a save back on the ship, doing another mission instead then coming back to this one. I'll try that and we'll see, thank you.

Thank you Bogsnot, it has worked. As you mentioned the issue was a corrupt file related to the area I was attempting to load. I have the game off of Origin, should the same issue occur to a steam user I imagine it's as simple as running a file validation. Another thing I did differently was I did not install Genosis, probably has nothing to do with it but food for thought.

Thanks again.
