I think Miranda and Jacob shouldn't get back together, just because it adds an element of realism. Not all relationships have happy endings. In fact usually the opposite is true.
Instead I think Jacob and Kasumi should get together.
Perhaps Liara and Kaidan should shack up as well if he's still alive, since Kaidan at least mentions in ME1 that he finds Liara attractive.

Tali + Kal'Reegar
Liara + Feron
These are obvious pairings to me. As for ME3, if Shepard doesn't romance anyone - Vega + VS

I can definitely see this.
Maybe Jacob + Kasumi as well, though?

That too. I think they would fit each other very well. Though that leaves Miri aloneThe Big Bad Wolf wrote...

Go read jtav's Persistence of Memory. She makes a compelling case for Liara/Miranda.

I support this. Especially the bolded part.

Well, maybe Kasumi is an option only if things with Miranda don't go so well?

That doctor date seemed more like his friends set him up and "made" him to do so he would move on from Shep.Finis Valorum wrote...
Kaidan is obviously having an off screen relationship with a (male) doctor on the Citadel, wouldn't it be a greatslap in the face for those of us that want to romance him with Manshepthing if that relationship just continued if you didn't romance him in ME1 or cheated on him during ME2.

The sex of the doctor is never mentioned. Don't you think it is a bit chauvinistic to assume the doctor is male?
A bit presumptuous as well, since Kaidan has never been confirmed as a same sex romance option for ME3. For all you know he will return as heterosexual. All the talk about Kaidan being a S/S romance option has been fan generated.

Maybe Shepard could have the opportunity to play matchmaker like when Hawke helped Aveline in DA2.
Agreed. That quest was great.

Canonically that would only apply to FemShep, unfortunately.
But we could always go with your prior suggestion of having Vega romance the VS, regardless of whether it's Ashley or Kaidan if we don't romance either of them (even though we won't get the opportunity romance Kaidan with ManShep ourselves, so if our ManSheps don't romance Vega he gets Kaidan, while we get celibate heroism).
It would be a great way for Bioware/EA to show tangenital support for gay or bisexual servicepeople in light of the US repeal of DADT.

Not sure if that would be appropriate considering THAT ALL LIFE IN THE GALAXY IS ABOUT TO END!!!!PhatSeeJay wrote...

Hawke was never anywhere near this much presure. Although agreed it was a good quest.

Of course. But did you miss the detail where FTL and relay travel can take hours upon hours of time?
There's only so much sleep you can get while waiting to arrive.

I certainly didn't intent any chauvinism, I just thought it would be great is the good doctor were male because of what that would imply for Kaidan, the docor being female is indeed the more likely possibility
Most probably quite true however that would be rather more boring, I think, but you're most likely absolutely right in that Kaiden will remain strictly straight and steroid Vega will be the only bisexual human male in the franchise.

Our good doctor is dues some love as well
Well generally seeing people other than Shep getting together would be great.

Actually, that could be a good idea for 'replacement' content for people who don't want to play any romances at all.Sarcastic Tasha wrote...

Didn't came out of nowhere. His cut gay romance from ME1 + Horizon scene + Raphael Sbarge confirming BW wrote a new gay romance for him in ME3.Han Shot First wrote...

He very well may be, but it does not mean that hetro romance was cut - I personally think that him being Bi would be hot and would be more inclined to forgive a male doctor (for some reason I don't get jealous over man my partner may find attractive, probably because it'll never occur to me to compete with a man. Woman on the other hand...), but I although know that a good deal of heterosexual female players may find it offensive (the part that would wounder if Kaiden is really that in to them, or if he'd prefer a man in his bed), so I think the gender of the doctor is better to be kept a mystery
