Ive done everything, Ive uninstalled the game, re-installed it. Played the game offline, restarted the system. Literally everything I have read on here or anywhere else I have tried to no avail. This is very frustrating as I recently bought the game for 60 dollars, and I enjoyed the first Mass Effect so much. When I first played the game it worked fine, but then the next day I went to play it, and I'm greeted with a never ending loading screen after I press resume game. What should I do? Am I the only one with this problem? Please, someone answer me!

Do you have an old PS3? Did you update it lately?

Instead of resume, try a normal load , and select and other one of the saves, maybe the newest one is corrupted. Before you get to the load screen turn off the auto save feature. I don't recall hardly ever using the resume, I always select the load file manually.

Does your ps3 have the latest firmware 3.66 I think it was.
Do you have the 1.03 patch aka latest, for the game,

I actually removed the patch as it never really fixed anything.

Yea I have all the updates for the PS3 and Mass Effect 2. I tried to load it manually but it still froze. I started a new game and it loaded in about 12 seconds. I saved the game, quit and reloaded it. That save file is fine. But I'm pretty nervous to see wether or not it will freeze again....
