The issue is that they advertised something that would affect *all* Shepards, not just *yours*. I wouldn't have had any issue at all had they intimated that this would be something that would affect 'a lot of Shepards' and not ALL of them. Previous marketing had actually advertised things that truly did affect *all* Shepards regardless of gender, such as class skills, backgrounds, etc. etc. This was clearly done only for femShep fans.

I mean, seriously. Why should I, as a Mass Effect fan, even bother to pay any attention to any of their marketing BS from now on if they're just going to flat out lie to people like that?

And while I'm at it, shouldn't the fem Shep trailer be almost DONE by now instead of them asking people to vote on a poll? They already polled people on Twitter over a month ago about what they think fem Shep should look like. This announcement just pretty much confirmed that there had been absolutely nothing done on it.

At this point, I think marketing people are capable of anything.

At this point, I think marketing people are capable of anything.

No no see the poll is for which face will be the new default Femshep at character creation and I imagine for marketing purposes leading up to ME3. You can still customize your own Shep or pick the old custom Femshep.

I thought you were easily the best looking FemShep in the contest. But that MaleShep in the blue armor stole the show. I couldn't believe he was new, he put a lot of the vetrans to shame.

Yeah, that Shep had so much attention to detail, especially on the Capacitor. I thought how he attached the pistol to his waist with a magnet was awesome. He even had me rolling when he did the Shepard dance. But that interviewer was so annoying, she obviously didn't know anything about Mass Effect or Dragon Age.

No kidding, she wasn't even paying attention to the contest. It was so obvious when she asked if Casey was judging. Hell, she wasn't even paying attention to her own interview when she asked Casey the same question twice. <_<

This would have been fun to do but as I live way the hell over in Michigan, my march would have began there, marching all the way to SD, then marching with the rest of the folks there lol. That in and of itself would have made the Manchu Mile look like a cake walk XD.
