San Diego Comic-Con International, also known as Comic-Con International: San Diego (as given on its website), and commonly known as Comic-Con or the San Diego Comic-Con, was founded as the Golden State Comic Book Convention and later the San Diego Comic Book Convention in 1970 byShel Dorf and a group of San Diegans. It is traditionally a four-day event (Thursday through Sunday — though a three-hour preview night on Wednesday is open to professionals, exhibitors, and some guests pre-registered for all four days) held during the summer in San Diego, California, United States, at theSan Diego Convention Center. Comic-Con is both the name of the annual event and the common name of the organization.Comic-Con International also produces two other conventions, WonderCon and the Alternative Press Expo (APE), both held in San Francisco, California.

At 6:00PM Pacific on July 23, 2011 we ask you, the people, to march on Comic Con with us.
We will supply everyone with Omniblades. You bring your voice, your passion.
At the end of the march Commander Casey Hudson will announce something significant for all the Shepards out there.
The march starts at the BioWare Base located at the Gas Lamp Hilton which is directly across from the convention hall.

Gamescom is the largest trade fair for interactive games and entertainment in Europe and is organised by the Bundesverband Interaktive Unterhaltungssoftware (BIU). The BIU (German Federal Association of Interactive Entertainment Software) represents 13 major video game companies such as Activision, Electronic Arts, Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo. It was first held from 19 to 23 August 2009 in Cologne, Germany at the Cologne Trade Fair Center (Köln Messe). It is the European equivalent of E3 in Los Angeles and Tokyo Game Show in Japan. It is used by many video game developers to show off their upcoming games and game-related hardware.Gamescom is the world's largest games event with 254,000 visitors, more than 4,400 journalists and 505 exhibitors from 33 countries attending the show in its second year. Gamescom 2011 will be held from 17 to 21 August 2011 at the same venue.
