Has anyone asked if you could customize Shepard and his squadmate's armor to greater detail than in ME2 and if you can modify squadmate's weapons?

I think that has been mentioned. You can modify Shepard's armor and everyone's weapons. I doubt we'll be able to modify squad "armor."

Damn at this rate I was hoping for some sort of system where you could add upgrades to their armor, something like KOTOR and ME1.

Well, this time it actually did yield a modicum of new info: Casey said they know exactly what they're gonna do with that now, whereas before they were saying they were still undecided on the "show/not show" question.  Of course, we have no idea what that decision was.
