Such as the Lazarus Project succeeding only because reaper tech was involved. Obvious and cliche, I know, but how else can Bioware explain the impossible task of bringing a corpse back to life in a feasible manner?

The same way Jules Verne explained how submarines work, by showing some stuff, but hiding everything else. It's science fiction, has it really taken 1+ year for people to realize it?

This may well be true, perhaps TIM did use reaper/ prothean technology to resurrect Shepherd, and perhaps TIM will hold some sway over Shepherd's wellbeing in ME3. But I'm sure Bioware won't be so obvious as to choose these very scenarios.
- I want to know how TIM was influenced by the reapers, when it happened and how his views have changed. Why does he now (ME3) think attacking Shepherd will stop the reapers? If TIM wanted humanity to survive he would grudgingly allow Shepherd to defend humanity, and then quietly assassinate him afterwards.

You forgot that the reapers did the same thing with Saren, they brainwashed him...though he was convinced that helping the reapers was the only way to save organic life.
Something similar could have happened to TIM....his organization, has done terrible things...and all of that seems ok and even correct for the Illusive Man (remember the Overlord DLC).

So jealous of everyone who got to play the demo. But I've seen all the episodes of Bioware Pulse so I'm ok. Really happy to see that the FemShep-trailer is moving forward!! Yay for that!

Since we're throwing around crazy theories about the ME3 plot:

When Joker unshackled EDI, she became the Normandy, a sentient starship. She's the first step towards a new Reaper race. I think Shepard's realization (and the game's twist that changes eveything) is that even you defeat the Reapers, the cycle will continue because other civilizations will rise to the same level as the Reapers (which is why the Reapers have to wipe them out). I wouldn't be surprised if the Normandy were the final boss in Mass Effect 3.

But again, this is a very wild theory.

Well…let’s see… after SDCC it is clear to me Casey, Mac and the whole bunch at BioWare are very good at making a lot of noise while revealing very little. Everything they presented at SDCC was a rehash of what was already shown from E3 plus a few snippets of Shepard as an Adept and a couple of new screens. The only thing that stands out as “new” is the reveal of the default FemShep.

Truth to be told, I’m sick of watching the same demo over and over. I was expecting a little more like the Reaper/Tresher Maw fight described in several magazine articles previous to E3. Q & A sessions were also a waste of time with people asking the same questions and getting the same answers. …“Will we see Tali’s face?”… PLEASE…Image IPB.  I was a bit disappointed.

Actually the best info I’ve gotten it’s been from this thread and the Twitter thread and the good work from Vertigo_1, Phaedon and others. Thank you guys for your efforts. Image IPB

Now is up to GamesCon in Germany next month. We might be able to see a trailer featuring FemShep, and MAYBE some new stuff, but I’m keeping my expectations low so I will be pleasantly surprised if the come up with something substantial.  Image IPB

Aw, I hope they don't make EDI the baddie. That would suck :(

As I said earlier, I don't think Jennifer Hale would be thinking about plot twists when asked what she's looking forwards to in ME3, I think it would directly relate to her Voice Over duties. It's almost certainly about having to voice some hitherto unseen emotions such as maybe grief or despair. Or possibly she'll get to be a baddie for a while as Shepard gets indoctrinated. Actors always love playing the baddie.

I can imagine some kind of sub-game, a bit like Overlord's virtual reality moment, where Shepard gets to fight the reapers inside her own head for control of her actions

I'm hoping they just haven't gotten around to contacting anyone yet, being busy wrapping up Con stuff and all. I also have to hope that someone who scored a FemShep 8x10 turns out to be a scalper. This was the only year I regret not going out to SDCC.

The guy doing the ME3 demo (who actually designed the level, I believe) was a nice touch. He was awesome. Alex, I believe.
