You forgot that the reapers did the same thing with Saren, they brainwashed him...though he was convinced that helping the reapers was the only way to save organic life.sael_feman wrote...

Such as the Lazarus Project succeeding only because reaper tech was involved. Obvious and cliche, I know, but how else can Bioware explain the impossible task of bringing a corpse back to life in a feasible manner?
The same way Jules Verne explained how submarines work, by showing some stuff, but hiding everything else. It's science fiction, has it really taken 1+ year for people to realize it?
This may well be true, perhaps TIM did use reaper/ prothean technology to resurrect Shepherd, and perhaps TIM will hold some sway over Shepherd's wellbeing in ME3. But I'm sure Bioware won't be so obvious as to choose these very scenarios.
- I want to know how TIM was influenced by the reapers, when it happened and how his views have changed. Why does he now (ME3) think attacking Shepherd will stop the reapers? If TIM wanted humanity to survive he would grudgingly allow Shepherd to defend humanity, and then quietly assassinate him afterwards.
Something similar could have happened to TIM....his organization, has done terrible things...and all of that seems ok and even correct for the Illusive Man (remember the Overlord DLC).
